Stress Relief with Kirtan Kriya Fingers

Sit tall with the palms up resting on the knees while holding Jalandhar Bandh (neck lock). The eyes are 9/10 closed looking at tip of the nose.

Take eight equal sniffs in through the nose and one breath out through nose. Coordinate the breath mentally chanting “Sa Ta Na Ma, Sa Ta Na Ma” on eight inhales and "Wahe Guru” mentally as you exhale.

As you chant, the thumb presses on the index finger for “Sa”, middle finger for “Ta”, ring finger for “Na”, pinky finger for “Ma” repeat this pattern a second round then on the exhale open the palm wide while mentally chanting “Wahe Guru”

Time: 11 Minutes

Comments: releasing stress, lengthening breath, don’t let any breath out while doing the segmented inhales, find your full lung capacity at top of the inhale and have all the breath out on the exhale
